Rohit Verma rocked Atlanta with his path-breaking fashion show at the 24th FESTIVAL OF INDIA organised by the Indian American Cultural Association (IACA). This edition of the festival was a runaway success, especially with IACA’s chairperson for the festival Dr (Mrs) Paddy Sharma turning heads when she hit the runway as the opening act of international designer Rohit Verma’s fashion show.
A jubilant Rohit Verma said, “I am eternally grateful to Lord Krishna for all the opportunities he presents to me. I also thank Dr. Paddy Sharma for her graceful manner on the runway that had everybody absolutely mesmerized.”
Verma was 2019 FESTIVAL OF INDIA’s star of the show; not only did he display his dazzling collection but also organised the stunning fashion show. IACA’s Chairperson for the show Dr (Mrs) Paddy Sharma, IACA chairperson Mr. Ani Agnihotri and fashion event co-ordinator Kiran Agnihotri were also in attendance. IACA is the largest and oldest non-profit organisation of Indians in Atlanta and has been organising the FESTIVAL OF INDIA for the last 23 years.
This chapter of the festival was a day-long affair packed with cultural activities and attended by over 3,000 people from all across Georgia, including the Indian consulate in Atlanta and the local politicians.
